"A decent shirt, but the care instructions are a pain"
The shirt looks nice enough, and I liked it when I first got it, but the washing instructions are just too much. Cold wash, no dryer, all the extra careful steps, and somehow it still shrunk a little anyway. I don’t want to have to baby a basic shirt this much. It’s frustrating because I wanted to like it, but in the end it just left me disappointed.
"Just didn’t have that Vissla feel"
I ordered a tee and a pair of shorts thinking they’d have that laid-back Vissla surf vibe, but i was kind of disappointed when they showed up. The tags and packaging felt really plain, the fit was a little awkward, and the whole thing just put me in a meh mood. Maybe I just got a bad set, but nothing about it felt special or like the brand I was expecting. I probably wouldn’t order again.
"Nice selection, especially for surfwear"
I’ve had a good experience with Vissla overall. They’ve got a solid mix of surf gear, especially boardshorts and tees, and I came across a few styles that felt a little different from what I usually see elsewhere. The quality and look are definitely a plus. My only minor complaint is that some sizes seemed to sell out quickly, so I wish the stock was a bit more consistent.

"Payment options are frustratingly limited"
I tried to check out and couldn’t pay the way I wanted, which was annoying. It feels like there should be more payment options by now. I also reached out about it, but the email response sounded like it was written by a robot and didn’t really help.

"Color wasn’t what I expected"
I ordered a shirt from Vissla because the photos made it look like a soft blue, at least on my screen. When it arrived, though, it looked a lot darker and almost greenish, so I’m not really sure if it was the lighting in the pictures or just the way it showed up online.
The fit was a little confusing too. From the photos I thought it would be more relaxed, but in person it didn’t come across that way. Maybe I misread the images, but it felt like the product photos were edited enough that they didn’t give me a very accurate idea of what I was getting.
"Easy to Use on My Phone"
I had a good experience checking out on my phone. The process was smooth and easy to follow, though a few pages loaded a little slower than I expected. Overall, it worked well and I’d use it again.

My order itself was fine, but I was disappointed with the packaging. The box looked kind of cheap and messy, and mine even arrived dented. For me, it just didn’t make the best first impression

I ordered based on the size chart, but what showed up didn’t really match it at all. The website made it seem like one thing, and then the actual product felt totally different, so I was confused when it arrived.

"Exchange Took Way Too Long"
I still remember how frustrating it felt waiting and waiting for my exchange to go through. What should’ve been a simple fix turned into such a drawn-out hassle that it really stuck with me. after this experience, I don’t see myself buying from here again

"Always out of my size, and now I’m not sure I trust it"
Every time I find something I actually like, my size is out of stock again. I went ahead and placed an order once, but after paying, I started feeling uneasy about whether it would even go through properly. Just doesn’t give me much confidence

"Checkout was kind of frustrating"
I usually like Vissla stuff, but checking out was more annoying than I expected. My cart kept taking what felt like a while to load, and I’m sure I had to enter my shipping info again because it didn’t save the first time.
The discount code seemed like it went through at first, but then it looked like it vanished near the last step. I had to backtrack and redo it, which probably only took a couple minutes, but it was still irritating.
My order did eventually go through, so it wasn’t a total disaster or anything. It just felt clunky overall, and I’d say the checkout experience could definitely be smoother.

"Definitely Size Up"
I’d recommend sizing up. The fit runs a bit small, and going up a size made it way more comfortable. Better overall fit. Less snug. Just feels right.

So, like, the site does look nice at first, but actually using it was kind of annoying. I had a hard time filtering for sizes, the pages were, you know, slow to load, and checkout on my phone just felt a bit clunky overall

I do like a lot of the styles from Vissla, and there’s something about it that feels really laid-back and easy to wear. But when I tried to find more details about how their stuff is actually made, I came away a little disappointed. They mention sustainability here and there, but I couldn’t find much about factories, worker pay, or audits.
For a surf/outdoorsy brand, I guess I expected them to be a bit more open about that side of things. Maybe they’re doing everything right, but it’s hard to know from what’s on the site. I’d consider buying again, but I’d feel better if they shared more clear, real info.

"Cute shorts, but the wear showed up way too fast"
I really do like the style, and the fit is actually good, so I was excited at first. But after just a few washes and a couple beach days, the fabric already started looking kind of worn and some of the stitching got loose. Like, dramatic me wanted to act like they’d been through a full survival reality show or something. They’re not ruined and I can still wear them, but for the price, I definitely expected them to hold up longer. Shipping was totally fine, no complaints there.

I ordered from vissla.com and ran into an issue with my return, so I emailed customer service twice. Both times I only got an automated reply, and then nothing after that. It’s been over a week now, and it’s really frustrating not knowing what’s going on or whether anyone is even looking into it. The clothes themselves are fine, but the whole experience left me feeling ignored. I probably wouldn’t order again if this is how they handle problems

"Warranty came through for me"
I had a seam start giving me trouble, that’s exactly why I kept the warranty info instead of just tossing it. I reached out and they ended up covering it quickly, so I can’t really complain too much. The only thing is I wish they’d sent updates a little faster, because I was kind of left wondering what was going on for a bit. Still, in the end, it worked out fine for me.

I ordered from Vissla and it was pretty much what I expected. The size and color matched what was on the site, so no problems there. It could’ve been packed a little nicer, but other than that, it was fine.
